The Artist: Michelle McSpadden
My goal as a Christian artist is to invite viewers into my paintings for spiritual reflection and discernment. The desertscapes are inspired by the rich biblical symbolism of beauty and harshness found in the desert, while the contemplative abstractions are created so that different techniques and themes can be explored outside of my preferred surrealistic style.
